Setting up Dreamweaver for FTP behind a Firewall

Requirements

You will need the following information.
You should be able to get this
from your system administrator.

  • Firewall Host address
  • Firewall Port in use

If you are working behind a firewall, you'll need to set Dreamweaver's Preferences to work with your firewall:
  • Choose Edit >> Preferences and select the Site FTP option.
  • Make sure you specify the correct Port and Firewall Host.
  • Click OK

Note: Ask your system administrator what to use for these settings.

Click ok to save your changes and exit.
